A Little About Me

 I will do this because I can!

Hi! I am Shay, also known as Shanetta DIY Life on YouTube. I have been blogging for a little over 5 years now, and I have come to really enjoy sharing my personal experiences reviewing products and services I come across. 

This blog came about out of frustration.  Like you, I want to get information about a product prior to buying it.  So I would go online and spend hours reading others' reviews on random websites and blogs, as well as on the manufacturer's website.  

Browsing through all of those comments, where some were so lackluster, some were literally not even about the product, and some were just an overview with no real details, gave me so much frustration.  That's how this blog came about.

I was so tired of relying on people who were unreliable that I decided to be the person I wanted to be when it comes to reviewing products, giving people a fair, honest opinion based on my experience.  

I also enjoy crafting here and there and DIY projects, but this blog will primarily focus on sharing products and services I have found very helpful for our family that others could definitely use if they need them. 

I will also share recommendations I haven't personally used, along with the POV from family and friends.
